 Daily Auction Procedure

Announcement of ESO EAD:

In accordance with a mutual agreement between ESO and Transelectrica (Romania) the NTC value for the period 08.11.2011 – 13.11.2011 in direction from Bulgaria to Romania is defined as 300 MW, and in direction Romania to Bulgaria is defined as 300 MW. The increase of 50 MW for the relevant period will be allocated by Transelectrica at Daily auctions.

In accordance with a mutual agreement between ESO and HTSO (Greece) the NTC value for the period 07.11.2011 – 13.11.2011 in direction from Bulgaria to Greece is defined as 350 MW. The increase of 50 MW for the relevant period will be allocated by HTSO at Daily auctions.

In compliance with Art. 1.03 and Art. 2.02, item 2 “c” of the Auction Rules, applying on BG-SR, BG-MK and BG-TR border, we inform the market participants, that as from August 2011 ESO will start to perform daily auctions.  Daily ATC shall comprise the not allocated capacities from the yearly and/or monthly auctions, performed by ESO or the capacities resold to the Operator.
ESO will publish no later than two working days before the first daily auction a Procedure for performing the auctions and requirements for payment of the CTRs allocated on a daily basis.

ESO EAD informs the market participants, that all necessary documents for the tender procedures of ESO EAD should be sent to the address: Bulgaria, 1404 Sofia, 105 Gotse Delchev Blvd., except in the cases, in which the corresponding Tender rules contain explicitly a different requirement.
